We are mid way through summer here in Lodi

Irrigating vines in midsummer

.  It’s been mild, delightful, and has just enough heat to help the vegetables.  The grape harvest will be later due to the mild weather, and we are just seeing verasion, the development of color in the clusters.  The pumpkins are in, the vegetables are ripening and the hot tub has been delivered to the Vintner’s Cottage.
